Bio

At the age of 15, I knew I wanted to be a stuntman. After receiving no information regarding film school from my guidance councilor, I planned to move to CA after graduation. Luckily, Producer Dino De Laurentis chose Wilmington NC to build his new studio. So, in the fall of 1983, I began my career.

Wilmington’s inaugural feature film, Firestarter, put out an extras’ casting call, which I attended.  Once on set, I met Extras Casting Director Mark Finncannon, and let him ( and anyone else in production )  know my intentions were to become a stuntman.  I was able to hang out with one of the LA stuntmen, Dick Warlock, who let me watch when any stunts were being performed.  Although the encouragement was little, I knew this was what I wanted to do.  I was told it would take five to ten years to become established in the industry, which I found doubtful. It took nearly eleven.

After years of work as an extra, driver, PA, effects assistant, and stand in, I  met Peter Bucossi. Mr. Busossi is a NY based stunt coordinator who was in Wilmington, working on the film TUNE IN TOMORROW.  I’m not sure why he took a liking to me ( maybe it was my encyclopedic knowledge of stunts ), but thanks to him a full time stunt career in the Motion Picture/TV Industry ensued.

I’ve had the good fortune to have worked as a Stunt Coordinator/ Stuntman on over 80 features and 60 TV shows, encompassing over a 100 episodes, including: 4 Seasons of SLEEPY HOLLOW, 7 episodes of UNDER THE DOME, 4 Seasons of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, the complete series DAWSON’S CREEK, 8 seasons of ONE TREE HILL, and 2 Seasons of HBO’S EASTBOUND & DOWN. I’m a member in good standing of SAG-AFTRA, DGA, and a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

I bring years of experience to your production. I know how to manage budgets, and create action that will serve the story, regardless of the budget size. I also own a large inventory of stunt equipment, and have package deals available.
